Make money doing the work you believe in
Back on my Polymarket soapbox: A Reuters investigation finds that 152 Polymarket wallets may have traded on military information. The wallets collectively made $8 million with a 97.2% win rate. The wallets were analyzed as “orcas” — accounts that are created quickly, place highly selective, large, niche bets, and then often get out quickly. That’s a problem on its own, but the investigation also finds that these kinds of bets are easy to detect, and they’re copied by bots and “whales” (large wallets). The worry is that this kind of betting is a vehicle for adversaries to gather all kinds of non-public, sensitive information.
