One of my goals for Parisian Sundays is to inspire you to stress less and plan less when visiting Paris. People-watching at cafés for hours, reading in parks, apéro, strolling by the Seine: these are some of the most authentic Parisian experiences you can have.

They’re cheap/free, comfortable, easily accessible. Still, many people miss out on them, as they’re trying to visit as many famous places as possible. I’m not saying there’s a right or wrong choice, but I recommend you to give it a try.

Stephanie Mork just published a lovely post about this topic. Warmly recommend her Substack:

«The trips that were misaligned were the ones I used social media to plan and tried to see everything because everyone else had seen those things and I thought it’s what I had to do.

It’s funny because I know better than that. Some of my favorite travel memories have come from spending a long time in one place and doing my own exploring, not following viral posts on social media.»
