Bob Allison, outfielder for the Senators/Twins, died on this date in 1995. A three-time All-Star, he was Rookie of the Year and led the American League in triples in 1959, had 100 RBI twice, and led the league in runs and OPS in 1963. Allison had 256 homers and 796 RBI in 13 seasons.
