Addie Joss, pitcher for the Cleveland Naps, was born on this date in 1880. A four-time 20 game winner, he led the league in ERA twice in wins once. Joss had 160 wins and a 1.89 ERA in nine seasons and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1978.
