When I was starting out 6 months ago, I began with GREAT enthusiasm.

I sold books and things were moving in the right direction.

Then I discovered Reddit. At first I thought I’d found a place to share and promote, but pretty soon I was being regularly crushed by accusations of AI writing (I don’t) because I use AI covers.

Now, I’m stubborn. I powered through, started working with a human artist and kept at it. I just published book #8 in my universe and I’m not stopping.

The point is, it would have been very, very easy to let that criticism drive me out of the creative space and back to an office or the wheel of a truck.

Words have power. I choose to uplift and support my fellow creatives, here, at Reddit, on FB, Twitter, Insta and in real life. I can’t change the world, but I can choose to embrace the positve.
