I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

-Paid family & medical leave
-Universal childcare
-Universal pre-K

-Programs to support reproductive health

entering the country on a visa and overstaying the visa is a civil violation, though it can result in serious immigration consequences. Entering the United States illegally can be a felony, depending on the circumstances. Being present undocumented is not illegal. The crime is how they came into the United States.
