You might think of me as a conservative, but for God’s sake look at me: I am an unmarried, childless, secular career lady who loves NYC and art and books and cats and studied English at Columbia University. I am LITERALLY everything that the right should hate… except they don’t. Instead, I am hated by the left because I think that Israel should have a right to exist and that Marxism doesn’t *actually* work. My views have been pushed to the right over the years because I have been pushed out of so-called tolerant spaces that once upon a time shared my values. So, therefore, I have somewhat reluctantly aligned myself with the side that doesn’t want to ritually burn me at the stake for having a slightly unorthodox brain. And that should tell you everything you need to know about where we’re at as a society today.
