Because I have been reading this column for a long time, it seems a little weird to see this stuff finally showing up in the news. It's like reading current news that Nixon committed crimes, or that the Allies won WWII. Or actually, more like having read today's newspapers a year ago, due to some anomaly in the flow of time.

IMO It is wise for the DOJ to let the committee work on, while they simultaneously do their work.
My question: is it simply business as usual at the DOJ? How many people are "on this case"? None? One? Two? 30? 60?
Is the DOJ even "on the case"? Or do we have to wait another 15 months+ for them to run their own investigation, and come up with their own facts about actual crimes committed by the and his hired henchmen? THAT is what makes government inner.

You have to know the history of Merrick Garland. He is nothing if not precise, pain staking and thorough. When the DOJ presses charges under his direction it won't be with a slight tap it will be with a velvet gloved sledge hammer.
