To be effective, our opposition to today's abuses must run alongside a clear picture of what we are actually for - and how everyday life could be better with different leadership.

A man who holds the title of President of the United States, who took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, who then says he doesn’t know if he’d uphold the Constitution, is unfit to be president and should be removed.
I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period
You made it, you own it

I cannot express how much I admire and respect this man. I supported him for president back in 2019 and will support him for ANY elected office in the future. He’s the real deal 💙💙
Don't know what box this comment should end up in? Not all of us dream of having 1000's of followers nor do we ever expect to make any money from building a very small local community conversation, say in our neighborhood, HOA, civic club, church or literarily millions of other small groups whose lifeblood centers around sharing ideas and communicating with each other. Your platform seems ideal for that purpose. BUT. your financial model would collapse overnight if a lot of us started to use your platform for that purpose, because there is no current method for you to monetize this use. "Free" is always a slow or sometimes fast trip to bankruptcy. I think many of us know that the days of Google and Facebook as "FREE" platforms will ultimately end as more users tire of being the commodity that is being sold to advertisers. I would suggest that Substack could make a great contribution to building and maintaining the fabric of our local communities and ultimately the larger world that we live in, not to mention a sustaining source of revenue for Substack, if you could offer a way to use your platform as an affordable way to communicate with others at the most local levels of our society. I believe that this would have a "Value" that many of us would be willing to pay for. Just my thoughts.
