I am sure I echo many others in Stephens’ comments when I say that I most heartily agree with this well justified polemic.

The NYT has been horrific, for years. Trump called journalists the enemies of the people and still they were afraid of speaking an ill word against him. Until the editorial which occasioned this broadside -- and possibly even before it -- to read the NYT for the past 2.5 years would give most reasonable persons the impression that 6th grade trans swimmers and 10th grade trans volleyball players are by far the greater threat to our civilization when compared to Trump. It's sick that Pamela Paul has been given so much ink to spill defaming doctors and equal rights activists with LibsOfTikTok-adjacent smears when they could have been writing about the Saffron Saboteur’s threat to our nation that they now claim to have known about all along.

But of course that's just the anodized aluminum frosting on the yellowcake of NYT journalism.
