I filed my 2024 tax return was done with Turbo Tax and was accepted by the IRS for $3201.00. I received $1800.00 back from the IRS and told $600.00 went to pay back an old Tax debt from 2020. I checked online with the IRS before filing and it said I owed $0.00. The other reason I was given was paying a debt at the VA for $600.00. I was not the VA was charging people for services. I have never paid them before. Have either of you heard of this?
