Exactly what would they fight against?? ‘Capitalism’ and state ‘socialism’ are ideas and institutions. Ideas can be ‘fought’ by debate and discussion, but only to the extent there are arenas for debate and discussion; institutions can hardly be ‘fought’ if they are intertwined with the entirety of social life.

I suspect the rhetoric of ‘fight’ because of these fundamental conundrums. It feels like yet another false path….
