BREAKING

The UK government spent more than £2.1m on legal fees on its Rwanda case.

Last month’s Supreme Court case - which ruled that the Rwanda policy was unlawful - cost almost £300k alone.

I previously reported that the Home Office had spent £1.4m on Rwanda legal challenges to June but the £2.1m figure is to end of November this year, released after I sent a Freedom of Information request.
