Meanwhile, the “ceasefire” remains more or less in effect, with only tit-for-tat strikes on both sides.
Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz is closed and the blockade is still in effect.
This is economic war of attrition, not a ceasefire nor a negotiation. The talks are looking more and more like Kabuki theater while both sides gamble that the other will blink as the oil supply disruption becomes critical for everyone.
Which side will blink first? Damn good question. We won’t know the answer until somebody does blink first.
