Is the Iranian Parliament going to gum up the peace deal works at the last minute? Possibly, if they insist on having a say in ratifying any deal signed with the US.
Salman Eshaghi said any possible agreement must be submitted in accordance with the constitution.
Would the Majlis shoot down any peace deal signed by the Khamenei regime? It is difficult to envision the Iranian Parliament getting in the way of whatever Mojtaba Khomenei wants.
At the same time, the Iranian Parliament would make an interesting scapegoat should the IRGC faction within the regime want to torpedo the talks.
