If you look at this year’s elections with next year’s voting foremost in your mind, the results look like a win for Democrats.

But if you look at the larger picture from a historical perspective, yesterday’s results look like a watershed moment in the decline of our civilization.

How else do you explain it, when the people of our leading city deliberately chose a leader whose policies promise chaos? This was a ringing vote of no-confidence in our political system.
