The 108 Code – The Cosmic Number

The number 108 is central in sacred traditions (Hinduism, Buddhism, numerology) and also mysteriously embedded in the geometry of the Earth-Moon-Sun system:

• Moon’s diameter × 108 ≈ distance from Earth to Moon

• Sun’s diameter × 108 ≈ distance from Earth to Sun

This means that:

The Moon and Sun appear the same size in the sky, because they are each approximately 108 times their own diameter away from the Earth.

The number 108 is a powerful key in sacred geometry, representing wholeness, cycles, cosmic balance, and divine proportion. It appears in:

The Phi (Φ) Proportions – The Golden Ratio in the Earth-Moon System

The Earth and Moon encode the Golden Ratio (Φ ≈ 1.618) in multiple ways:

• Earth diameter ≈ Φ × Φ × Moon diameter

• Moon diameter ≈ Earth diameter ÷ Φ²

• Orbital ratios and distances approximate golden mean relationships.

The Moon’s radius, when drawn as a circle and inscribed within a square whose sides equal the Earth’s diameter, produces a “squared circle”, a geometric construct symbolic of the union of Heaven and Earth, spirit and matter, masculine and feminine.

This sacred configuration was pursued in ancient geometry and used as the symbol of perfection, the joining of the solar (square) and lunar (circle) principles.

In fact, if you draw:

• Then a square based on the Moon’s dimensions,
