As a physicist, I search the equations for symmetry.

As a human being, I search the darkness for meaning.

In the union of these quests, I have come to see that the Universe’s greatest secret is not hidden from us, it is hidden within us.

The luminous shadow is not out there in the void between galaxies.

It is here, in the space between our thoughts, in the gravity of our silence, in the coherence of our shared existence.

For only through darkness can light be understood, and only through the unseen Universe of the mind, can enlightened consciousness emerge…
