Do the same genetic variants change over time in different parts of the world?

Using ancient DNA from Europe and East Asia over the last 12,000 years, I test whether SNPs linked to educational attainment show aligned temporal trends across continents.

The signal is weak at individual loci, as theory predicts, but it is real and detectable when thousands of SNPs are considered together.
