yeah, why now? what are they trying to accomplish with this? For me, it's like ho-hum. Even if it's true, it's still ho-hum but maybe a bit more interesting. If they are trying to create fear, this seems like a stupid, ineffective way to do it. My reaction would be curiosity, not fear. If aliens had this super advanced technology and they haven't destroyed us with it by now, then just maybe they have no intention to destroy us. And if they do want to destroy us, not much we can do about it.
