I don’t like spending money on ‘occasion’ pieces. I’d rather invest in clothes for my everday life of kid-wrangling. So for a recent event, I resisted the temptation to buy a Tibi collarless blazer on sale, and simply tucked in the collar of a blazer that was languishing in my closet. Easy! I took out the lining of an old skirt for a bit of sheerness and texture, and felt very smug about spending zero dollars on my outfit 😎
