Pam Bondi said on Fox that the FBI’s arrest of a county judge is “sending a very strong message.” Yes, Pam, and that message is, this country is being ruled by fascist traitors.

I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

On Fridays we publish our weekly Streaming Data Dump an article focused on discovering the various audience sizes for entertainment debuts and sporting events. This week we look at Wrestlemania' 41’s undisclosed viewership increase, the success of the new Matlock and more!
This has helped me through many writer’s blocks and maybe it’ll help you.

And it still is that. But lately I’ve been asking—other than myself, to whom am I writing?
I think it’s for people who want more in their relationship with God. Not more noise or striving. But more honesty. More presence. More truth about how life actually feels, and how God might still meet us there.
I refuse to be the kind of person who loses their mind over a delayed train or lets a spilled coffee set the tone for the whole day.
I want to be the one who stays composed, who sees the good even when things don’t go as planned. The kind of person who breathes through the little chaos and still finds beauty in how the day unfolds.
I want to be soft. I want to be steady.

Pope Francis lifted the world as he led the Church with his profound moral voice. As he returns to God, may his call to humility and concern for the least among us continue to resound.

They're physically removing the Greensboro lunch counter from the Smithsonian—the actual counter where four brave students sparked a national movement in 1960. This isn't just about museum artifacts. It's about who gets to exist in America's story, whose courage is remembered, and whose resistance is honored.

There’s a term in psychology called habituation: the way we stop noticing things we see often. A painting on the wall. A familiar view. Even a person’s kindness.
The brain filters the predictable to save energy. But in doing so, it risks filtering out what makes life feel full.
Not everything that becomes familiar should be forgotten.

The head of our country’s government is in the early stages of consolidating total power. We must of course reject this, but that is not enough. We have to respond by creating a different and better kind of American politics than we have seen before.
When I started my substack I sent it to my friends and family … as most of us do.
I was proud that I was finally standing up for disability rights. That I was taking my pain and putting it on the page in an effort to help others. That I had found something that lit a spark inside me.
Unfortunately, many of my friends didn’t feel the same way.
My disabilities are invisible, and I had become very good at hiding them. Apparently that’s what people expected of me, as they didn’t like this “new” ver…
I believe you. I support you. And I believe in you. Everyday I’ve read your messages I’m grateful for the reminders, grace, and compassion for self and others you model.
My disability is not visible either. People who know me well can tell when the pain ebbs or notice range of motion decrease.
And others who think they know or I had believed knew me well have been unaware and even harmful. It was liberating to set strong boundaries. I don’t miss one damn person who fell by the wayside after it became clear they were not a true friend. I think many times they are uncomfortable with vulnerability in general. I’m not. I can be present in crisis. It’s not always reciprocated.
You remind me to be present and unapologetic about my own needs. Thank you so much.
Thank you Lisa! This was so very kind of you to say. It took me so long to be able to set strong boundaries, and now I consider it an honour to be able to write and share stories that hopefully inspire others to do the same.
I can also show up in a crisis. I think that’s a skill we often develop because our bodies are constantly in crisis. If others won’t show up for us in even the smallest way, that sends a pretty clear message about how they view our worth.

Starbucks is banning employees from wearing masks. Masking. This is what happens when safe healthcare practices are mischaracterized as political statements. A company that insists on being “politically neutral” is now preventing employees from keeping themselves and their customers safe under the guise of brand image.
If you weren’t already boycotting Starbucks, now is a good time to start.
