Make money doing the work you believe in

In Plato’s Apology, Socrates is on trial for his life. He loses, is convicted and then executed by the Athenians. While defending himself, he explains his human wisdom: while Socrates doesn’t know anything lofty and important (justice, courage, piety, etc.), he knows that he doesn’t know these things, whereas his fellow citizens think that they know, but they really don’t know. This idea of “human wisdom” is a crucial part of the history of Western philosophy. If you want to learn more, check out this post. :)
