Make money doing the work you believe in

In the last 6 months or so, Simon Harmer and Malinda Pushpakumara became the latest entrants in the 1000 First Class wickets club.

Getting to 1000 First-Class wickets is a rare record we see these days. The way world cricket is going, it would become even rarer to see bowlers reaching this number. So, the question that comes to mind is who could be the next bowler to reach the milestone.

One of the names that I see is Pakistan's Mohammad Abbas. He is fresh from a 5-fer in the first innings against Bangladesh and now sits at 880 FC wickets at an average of 20.33.

He is mainly a one-format player as he has not played any white-ball game since October 2024. And if not for this test series, he would have been playing for Derbyshire in England. He is a regular player in the English County as well as in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

If he continues to play for the next 2-3 years, we can easily expect him to reach the milestone.
