What I love about Le Marche is that it still remains undiscovered by mainstream tourism. It maintains an authentic, unspoiled charm. We were staying in the charming town of Treia. Here, we were based in a beautifully renovated podere, overlooking the medieval village.
Sophie, the owner of the villa, together with Eleonora, our local host, took us to some of the area’s hidden gems. Including a secret little beach where local fishermen still arrive every morning to sell their catch straight from the boat.
