So, according to the New York Post, The Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, has just started reviewing more than 120 foreign biolabs that have been funded by US taxpayers for several decades. It follows from Trump's executive order 14292 from 5 May which restricts and limits gain-of-function research, the kind that could increase the transmissibility of viruses.
The facilities span over 30 countries; more than 40 are situated in Ukraine. Russia raised these concerns for years and met only derision from the Atlanticist blob.
Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, head of Russia's Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defence Forces, was killed in Moscow on 17 December 2024 by a bomb concealed in an electric scooter outside his apartment block. Ukraine's SBU claimed responsibility within hours, calling him a "war criminal and legitimate target" on the stated grounds of chemical-weapons use in Ukraine. Yet, conveniently or otherwise, Kirillov was the most senior official systematically presenting the Russian case on the Ukrainian biolabs — the case Western governments and outlets dismissed for three years as Kremlin disinformation. Neither the Guardian, the BBC nor the Telegraph has reported a word of Gabbard's probe.
