Today we witnessed some outstanding speeches at the NATO summit. This speech from the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen will I believe be the defining moment when a felonious U.S. president trashed the credibility and moral integrity of a once great nation the world looked up to.

What a beautiful speech, and this breaks my heart because this is what the US should have been saying too.
What she says is necessary for Europe’s security at this point. I think Europe will have to defend itself from Russia. And united Europe is the only way. Kick Hungary and Slovakia out as they are putler’s useful idiots.
Good speeches are certainly better than the silence, complicity, and disarray that define internal resistance in the U.S., but words alone won’t prevent the collapse of American democracy or mitigate the harm that collapse will inflict on the world.
