Apparently many schools are moving away from iPads, laptops and AI tools, and returning to handwritten exams, oral tests, and paper homework.
Some schools that went “all-in” on tech (like Sweden in 2023) are now reversing course and bringing back physical textbooks and handwriting.
Teachers say students focus better and cheat less when they use pen and paper instead of screens. Who would have seen that coming? 😅
According to this article in The Economist, studies show that handwritten work helps with memory, comprehension, and overall learning.
