To the Brits whose country I am currently visiting:

“Half nine” instead of “Half-past nine” is brilliant. Very efficient. I'll recommend this change to the relevant authorities when I return home.

In that same spirit, I'd like to point out that instead of saying “Full-fat Coke” you might just say “Coke” which the Coca-Cola company has helpfully delineated from their other products by calling them “Diet Coke” and “Coke Zero”.
