Spring arrived early this year!
I woke up to a cheerful “Happy Spring” message from a cousin today and thought I’d missed a day (it happens sometimes with chronic insomnia).
But no, Spring arrived in the northern hemisphere this morning at 5:01 a.m. eastern time. Apparently, the spring equinox occurs between 19 and 21 March each year. I learn new things every day.
The flowering plants around my neighborhood and university definitely got the message. It’s a beautiful time of year!
