I'm working on a paper right now using my own methodology: relational-developmental autoethnography. Part of what it traces is the gap between what's happening inside and what's visible on paper. For years, the most transformative work of my life produced almost nothing legible on a CV. The process felt brutal and the output was invisible. I wonder how many people are living in that gap right now.
