Hey my people…
So… my Instagram got hacked, and later Instagram deactivated the account completely.
Honestly, it’s been frustrating and kind of heartbreaking for me. ðŸ˜
I was genuinely happy there lately. Opportunities were slowly coming in, but more than that, I was meeting and working with such amazing souls. People like Marisa Victus. I was so excited for her ARC and her new book, and I loved posting about it, talking about it, sharing the work of people I genuinely admire.
And yes… I complain about Instagram all the time. I still do. There are so many things about that platform I don’t like, and honestly, I never wanted to become someone who lives online 24/7.
But we all know there’s a reach there. A volume. A possibility.
And I wanted to use that space not just for myself, but for my friends too. For writers. For books. For the beautiful things people are quietly making.
I don’t think I say this enough publicly, but I genuinely love what I’m doing.
I love writing on Substack.
I love building Patreon slowly and carefully.
I love talking to writers.
I love reading books that rearrange something inside me.
I love championing people whose work deserves to be seen.
And more than anything, I love this strange little literary corner of the internet.
Substack surprises me every single day. The people here are thoughtful in ways I genuinely didn’t know still existed online. I’ve met readers and writers here who feel so human, so sincere, that sometimes it catches me off guard.
But yes, yesterday I felt very low about losing the account.
Today, I’m done sitting in that feeling.
So I made a new Instagram account.
And honestly, maybe this time I’ll share even more. More about me, my friends, the work we’re all building, the books we love, the stories that stay after the ending.
As for whoever hacked the previous account… I’m still confused about why that even happened.
Should I call myself a celebrity now?
Maybe this is my moment guys haha.ðŸ¤ðŸ¤
But seriously… I’d really love if you connected with me again on the new account. I don’t want to miss all of you. And I don’t want you to miss this next chapter either.
