Moving SAMHSA into AHA gives I greater reach, and provides an opportunity for this agency to get to root causes of mental health and substance use disorders. And I did not have the merging of ASPE and AHRQ on my bingo card. Both relatively small agencies so the merger may provide efficiencies, as well as provide AHRQ a much needed realignment toward health policy.
