The 90-Second Workflow That Turns Handwritten Notes Into a Clickable Session Guide
(Save this. 10x your learning.)
Step 1: Take the photo.
Take a photo of the handwritten note in good lightning (see my photo).
Step 2: Use this prompt.
Open Cowork. Paste this:
I took a photo of handwritten session notes and need an interactive HTML guide from it.
FOLDER: [Downloads / Desktop]
FILE: [part of filename, e.g., "notes" or date]
SESSION:
- Title: [Claude Skills Walkthrough]
- Duration: [45 minutes]
- Audience: [mixed technical]
STEPS:
1. Transcribe the handwriting. Preserve arrows and numbering as flow.
2. Structure into: Hook, Core sections, Demo, Q&A, Follow-up.
3. Build a single HTML file with:
- Sidebar navigation
- Collapsible sections with timing
- Talking points and speaker notes
- Action items with checkboxes
- Mobile-friendly, clean styling
4. Check: every element from the notes appears, uncertain text gets [?] markers, timing adds up.
Save as [title]-guide.html and open it to confirm.
Step 3: See what comes back.
Now you have one HTML file that you can open in your browser. Screen-share it. Send it to a co-host. Works offline.
Sidebar nav, collapsible sections, timing estimates, speaker notes, action items with checkboxes, progress bar. All from one photo!
Step 4: The payoff.
I didn't open Keynote. I didn't format anything. I wrote notes the way I think, and Cowork turned them into something I could present/learn/teach from if I wanted.
Full setup:
Take the photo
Paste the prompt
Open the HTML file
Present/learn/teach from your browser
