However government policy is currently sending us in the opposite direction as we see polluting megafarms multiply across our country at an alarming rate - exactly the kind of industry the report flags as at risk: import-dependent, inefficient, wasteful and accelerating ecosystem breakdown.

To help fight back, we have launched an e-action for people living in the factory farming hotspots of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Norfolk or Suffolk. If you live in one of those areas, you can tell your local MP to step in.”
