Have you ever felt afraid to say out loud, God delights in me?

I used to feel this way—it felt wrong to say it. Proud, almost? Or self-centered, perhaps?

But now I realize it’s the best place to be—the best way to be genuinely humble, really selfless, is to truly understand and live in His delight in me.

So try it—out loud, even:

“God delights in me.”
