I have long been wildly jealous/admiring of Rachel Khoo’s effortless style and career in food, so was intrigued to read her upcoming memoir, ‘The Smallest Restaurant in Paris’. It tells the story behind her starting out in food, before her stratospheric success with ‘The Little Paris Kitchen’ and subsequent cookbook and television career. It’s a fabulous insight behind the curtain (unlike me, Rachel is not a chronic oversharer on her Substack) AND I’m into just HOW MUCH WORK it takes to build a business from scratch, esp as a woman in the media. A really useful read for career-changers, and a v pleasurable one for food-lovers:
