For the past 2 weeks, we‘ve enjoyed living very simply on our sailboat at a free anchorage in Annapolis. We could easily get lulled into comfort here, just working on boat projects, maybe forever. Would we be toastier in a house with a nice fireplace? Absolutely. But that sounds so unnecessarily extra, and we wouldn’t be able to take that with us when we’re ready to move. And it’s almost time to head south… way south.

By November 1, we’ll be positioned to sail to the Caribbean and go international for the first time. We have no clue what that journey will bring, but it’ll likely involve the biggest ocean passage we’ve ever attempted.

We’re getting the itch to push our limits again.

We’re about to do something BIG.

Am I nervous? Yes, but that changes nothing.

This adventure is just getting started.
