Awesome, Luc! Welcome to Substack. I’ve been living on my 31-foot sailboat for 6 months and have sailed 3,000 miles with no fridge, running water, or air conditioning. In the Bahamas now, and we’re planning our trip onward!

Totally understand what you mean about convenience — I definitely didn’t choose this life for that! We just needed to sail 12 hours to take our cat to the vet in Nassau (not convenient). But what I really wanted was alignment. I wanted freedom from asking people permission and the ability to decide what matters to me most and move accordingly.

Sounds like we both love the same types of freedom!
