For a long time, I was scared to call myself an artist. I thought that because I wasn't ‘trained’ or because my art was simple and sometimes blends digital composition with hand drawn elements that there was something ‘lesser’ about it. Something that made it somehow wrong to call myself an artist. Don't hold yourself back from becoming who you are, who you want to be. You'll lose so much time. I love the things I create, I love my creative process. I love being an artist. Throw away your preconceived notions of what constitutes art or poetry and just make the damn thing.
