I really love this community. Both

and did a writeup to invite to The Cookout Library 👋🏿👋🏽👋🏾!

Here’s what Rachel said: “He’s not only a writer but a critical thinker and isn’t afraid to try something new. Aside from a super creative publication name he writes straight-forward reflections that are sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes hilarious, but always insightful.

My favorite of his is “Breakfast or Dinner,” where he delivers an uppercut of truth to a dear friend but, don’t worry, she needs it.”

Here’s what Favour said: “Tobi is the embodiment of humor and vulnerability, mixed with creative ideas. Jollof-Write is a clever name for a newsletter and that same cleverness plays out in his posts. You WILL enjoy reading his posts. Tobi’s work is very personal and takes a lot to share but gives good perspective and insight, making for good conversation starters.

Tobi, welcome to the Library! Hands down one of the most unique names I’ve come across on the platform. Really enjoyed this honest read about the cost that comes when parents don’t understand. Thank you for writing anyway brother.
