Apropos of Nothing: Had an incredible talk today with a guy who does booking for an arthouse/indie theater in rural/small town America. Asking him the questions:

• What helps you decide what to book?

• What helps you in promotion of indie films?

• What do you wish indie filmmakers knew/did that no one does?

That led to an almost hour-long chat on rethinking the distribution and promotion of indie film. Doing a lot of note dissection and thinking now, but so many actionable items emerged out of that chat, and will be part of the larger proposals.
