Provide a motivating quote and then explain why it motivates you. Okay. Well, I don't memorize and store many quotes (if any) in my brain. I don't cite people. But, I occasionally use a quote/line from a movie or cartoon. Are any of those quotes motivating?...eeeh...?

"Where you go, I follow" ~Timothy Dalton/Prince Barin, Flash Gordon (1980)
If I can call that a motivating quote, I'd say it's the measure of true friendship. When you truly have a link to someone's heart, you will follow them wherever they may go, even if you become separated by fate.

"Tears are often a shortcut to smiling again." ~Fantaghiro (from the Italian mini-series of the same name, 1991-1996)(I hope I wrote the quote correctly.)
I guess this quote, recently found, is fair motivation to get over what upsets us by letting the tears out, rather than bottling them. The sooner we release the emotional baggage, the sooner we can smile, again.

*I find it motivating because this quote is conveying that what breaks you can also become what heals and reshapes you for better.
That opening allows growth, wisdom, compassion, and self-awareness to enter. The very thing that hurts you can also transform you, if you let it.*
Your explanation troubles me, poetica ☆ . It sounds like you could be changed outside your own will and become something you don't want or need to be, simply because you let yourself be shaped and molded by whatever crosses your path. Where is your identity? Or, are you just a lamppost tagged with whatever is slapped upon or carved into you?
