We have been adopted as honorary grandparents for a lovely young family. We are Lolly and Jojo to adorable Abe (2) and Jonah (6 mos.) I cannot tell you how much it means to us to be chosen by this young family.

We were visiting the other night… we brought over Smitten Kitchen short ribs, which were terrific. Somehow my birthday came up, my husband mentioned something or other about a plan. Sam, the dad, immediately picked up his cell phone to note the date in his calendar.

I am so touched by the kindness. All of this is to say I am so glad to be surrounded by loving people. Happy Christmas!
