I agree. My liberal “friends” assume I’m hardcore right wing because, around them, I push back against the progressive agenda. That doesn’t mean I’m a fan boy of avowed conservatives. Many are just as treacherous—McConnell, Cornyn, Graham . . . the list goes on. We should never elect anyone based on promises and put them on autopilot.
