This medical death system survives because:
Large systems (hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, regulators, corporations) do not change because something is wrong or immoral.
They change only when not changing becomes dangerous to them.
Risk of financial loss
Risk of lawsuits
Risk of criminal liability
Risk of public exposure
Risk of loss of credibility
Risk of loss of power
As long as the harm is:
hidden,
mislabeled,
fragmented,
or pushed onto isolated families,
…the system calculates that it is safer to continue than to stop.
What breaks that?
History shows this again and again:
Tobacco didn’t fall because of science....it fell because people saw faces
Asbestos didn’t fall because of regulators.....it fell because of widows
Opioids didn’t crack until parents refused to shut up
