People ask all the time if I think HIV exists and here is my answer, unsatisfying though it may be. I think that it doesn’t matter. Peter Duesberg, Henry Bauer, and others have demonstrated decisively that if HIV exists, it cannot be pathogenic. Also, as a mathematician, I cannot say “HIV does not exist” because that statement is necessarily unprovable.
