Celebrating a personal win 🏆

So I went to the doctors today to beg for something for this bloody flu and saw a GP that I had never met before. 🤒

‘What do you do?’ she asked.

Without hesitation I answered:

‘I’m a writer’ 🖊️

Normally I mumble on about ‘working in the NHS’ or ‘taking time out’ but today I just came straight out with it:

‘I’m a writer’.

For the first time today I said it out loud and I believed it. This is huge for me. 🥹
