I’m starting to wonder whether Starmer’s collapse has thrown a spanner into Project Thaw.

To be fair, many of us have been tracking some kind of operation to bring Harry back to the UK ever since Richard Eden first exposed it. That part isn’t new.

What I was trying to distinguish this past week is that the latest headlines don’t feel like part of that machinery at all, they look much more like the Sussex operation melting down!

Whatever the original plan was, it’s clearly gone off‑script.
