I’ve chosen to go for this because it’s been a while since I’ve engaged with the internal intellectual currents of the British revolutionary left, and there’s something about reading that Substack that is both nostalgic and, in parts, analytically useful.

At the moment, with so much focus on electoral projects and discussions around the Green Party and Your Party, I think it’s valuable to also look at other traditions in British politics and stay grounded in a diversity of perspectives. I don’t agree with everything in it, but I find it useful for broadening the range of thinking I’m engaging with.
